Free Tutorials and InstructionsWhen I think of free website building tutorials, instructions, and advice, two of my favorite sites come immediately to mind -- PageTutor.com and TheSiteWizard.com. With The Page Tutor's Basic HTML Tutorial, I learned the bare bones of creating a website from scratch, just enough to whet my appetite. PageTutor.com offers HTML, Javascript and web authoring tutorials from beginner to more advanced. This website contains a wealth of information and much of it is free. If you enjoy the beginner material and are hungry for more of The Page Tutor, he offers a membership area with even more material (at the time of this page publishing a lifetime membership is discounted from $29.95 to $24.95) and sells his own reasonably priced HTML and Javascript manuals.TheSiteWizard.com is, well, I can't say enough about TheSiteWizard.com. Just about anything you want to know about website design, promotion, programming and revenue making can be found at TheSiteWizard.com for free. The Site Wizard appreciates donations and is certainly worthy of them, but the information is provided free to all. I wanted to start a website from scratch, didn't want to use a pre-made template, but didn't have the patience to go through the grueling process of working solely with raw code as I was learning with The Page Tutor so I downloaded kompoZer (a free WYSIWYG web editor) and followed the tutorials on TheSiteWizard.com. The following is a list of free website building information resources listed by topic: ( I take no responsibility for the content of these websites or for what you may create or ruin by following their instructions. I can only tell you that these are sources which I have found to be helpful. Have fun!)
