Free Blog Themes and Website TemplatesMost of the sites that offer free blog themes and website templates also have premium offerings for a price and lots of ads that look like part of the site directory so be careful where you click, but if you are willing to sort through mountains of themes and templates you are bound to come up with one that you'll like. I have tried to include mostly sites that are clean, clear and easy to navigate. One caution, during my investigation I opened many of the themes in both Firefox and IE and found that they definitely displayed better in one or the other. Not a bad idea to check how the theme performs in several different browsers before you download, especially if you decide to choose a pay theme. If
you are planning to use
Google AdSense or another affiliate ads program on your blog, you would

theme that is ready-made for that purpose to avoid distortions in your
blog theme by placing ad code in random places. Most of these
sites have themes designed specifically for this purpose.
I
tried and failed with several ad plugins on my blog with a
theme
that was not ads-ready before giving up and installing the current
theme.
